Former Chiawana Senior High School standout Devyn Hernandez played for the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes as they were defeated 14-6 by the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos in their NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, March 7, at 12 p.m.

The contest was held at Fiscalini Field and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Broncos previously handed the Coyotes an 8-6 loss on Friday, March 6.

Hernandez gave up five earned runs in 0.1 innings of relief.

The Coyotes are set to play again at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7, once more facing Cal Poly Pomona at Fiscalini Field.
