ETBU Tigers secure 10-7 win as Jake Schumacher contributes in NCAA Division III matchup

Former Kamiakin High School standout Jake Schumacher helped lead his college team, the ETBU Tigers, to a 10-7 victory in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Pacific Boxers at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.

Chuck Bafaro Stadium at Bond Field hosted the game, marking the Tigers’ third contest against the Boxers this season. In their earlier meeting on Saturday, March 7, the Tigers came away with a 17-4 win.

Schumacher pitched 2.2 innings, giving up five earned runs while logging two walks and two strikeouts.

The Tigers are scheduled to play their next game at Tiger Ballpark at Woods Field against Lyon Scots on Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m.
