Former Kamiakin High School standout Nicole Wertenberger contributed to Central Washington University’s 63-36 victory over Montana State Billings on Friday, March 13, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The first-round game, held at 6 p.m. at Nicholson Arena, marked the Wildcats’ initial meeting with the Yellowjackets in this tournament.
Central Washington is set to play its next tournament game at Nicholson Arena on Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m.
