Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) has received a $50,000 grant to help fund health services in Benton and Franklin counties, NBC Right Now reported.
The grant was given by medical aid organization Direct Relief in partnership with the National Association of Community Health Centers.
“Access to primary care is what keeps people healthy and out of the hospital and the front line work of Tri-Cities Community Health and other nonprofit community health centers across the U.S. is more critical than ever with the onset of COVID-19,” Direct Relief President and CEO Thomas Tighe told NBC Right Now.
As stated on the TCCH website, the network of community health centers provides a range of services, including family medicine, internal medicine, behavioral health, dental and vision. Services are available to those without insurance, as well as those with commercial insurance, Medicaid and Medicare.
TCCH has locations in Kennewick, Pasco and Richland.
