City of Kennewick issued the following announcement.
The City’s Contractor for the City-Wide Overlay project will be performing work at various location in Canyon Lakes. Work began Monday September 8th and is expected to take approximately a month. All work is currently scheduled to take place during the day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The work on Canyon Lakes Dr./S Ledbetter St. and W Hildebrand Blvd. will be performed using lane closures, and the work on S Olson St will be performed using daily closures of the roadway in order to enhance worker safety. The City asks that you please be patient with the workers and please drive safely in the construction zone. The City of Kennewick Public Works Department suggests that motorists use alternative routes to avoid the work areas if possible to avoid delays.
