City of Kennewick issued the following announcement.
Top 20 Stories in 2020 Countdown! #5 - Council adopted the 2021/2022 biennial budget that was prepared using the budgeting by priorities model. This model is especially important during these difficult and uncertain times as result of the pandemic, requiring us to reimagine how we continue to deliver our priority programs and services. The 2021/2022 biennial budget expands on the work that has been accomplished in the previous bienniums where over 300 services that are provided to the community were evaluated. The budget provides a strategic plan for a sustainable operating and capital budget into the future.
