Washington State University-Tri Cities recently issued the following announcement on March 11.
Family, friends and colleagues of Byron Marlowe gathered in the Art Center to unveil a new bench on campus dedicated to his legacy of commitment, inspiration and dedication. This bench will serve as a place for students, staff and faculty to take time to remember our friend and ensure his spirit of hospitality lives on.
We are incredibly grateful to Doug and Debbie Hughes for their construction of the bench, Sandy’s Trophies for donating the plaques on the bench, and Katie Nelson of Gordon Estate Winery for donating the wine barrels.
