TRAINING WEEK
Training is an ongoing necessity for officers. We constantly strive to improve our knowledge and tactics to keep this community safe. The focus this week is on active shooter training
and breaching locked doors. This training has changed drastically over the last ten years, and we will continue to change and improve with it. Recent school shootings and our own
Fred Meyer shooting both provide opportunities to learn and become better. RPD is committed to keeping our students and community safe. Thank you to Liberty Christian School for
letting us train at their facility yet again. This is a great opportunity to train in a real-world environment. Its great partnerships like this that show what an awesome community we have.
