Go from being a couch potato to a 5K finisher with this 8 week training program! If you haven't run before or perhaps you think you can't, we'll show you how to get started, give you 

training tips, and teach you how to stay motivated; all while training for Pasco’s Lampson Cable Bridge Run 5K. Training will gradually increase your endurance and your fitness

level while you receive coaching tips in a fun group setting. There will be a group workout on Saturday mornings and each participant will be given a workout plan to follow during the

week. Class fee includes training, registration for the 5K Lampson Cable Bridge Run held on Saturday, December 17th, and a Lampson Cable Bridge Run shirt

This class will accommodate a wide variety of fitness levels. Anyone under 16 may participate with a parent/guardian that is registered for this course.

The 5K Training program is taught by Bruce Bradley, Retired Coach. Bruce has been coaching runners for more than 40 years and was Captain of 3 running teams in California.

Bruce has been a spin instructor, has coached football, baseball, soccer and youth bowling. He is a Certified US Track and Field Coach (USATF).

- This is an 8 week course that will help lead you to completing the Lampson Cable Bridge Run 5K run.

- Please wear appropriate clothing for trainings.

- Wear newer running shoes.

- Bring plenty of water

- Classes will be held on Saturdays at the Pasco Big Cross X-Country Course on Road 36.
