Our Richland Police Department Foundation is awesome! Last night, one of our night shift officers was contacted by a single father who had lost his job recently making it impossible for him to provide a gift for his five-year-old daughter for Christmas. Two of our officers took him to Walmart and used funds provided by the Richland Police Department Foundation to purchase two toys for his daughter.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with our officers so we can give back to our community and help people in tough circumstances. If you would like to find out more about the Foundation, visit their Facebook page or their website at richlandpdf.org
