Making the best of working on Christmas. Nobody wants to work on the holidays, but police work is an everyday gig. Today, B Squad patrol officers were treated to a lunch of BBQ buffalo steak courtesy of Officers Myers and Schneider, who are currently assigned to the office handling phone reports. Patrol officers were able to swing by the department and have a great meal in between handling calls for service.
Over the last week, RPD has received donations of treats, snacks, and meals provided by Winco and several community members. It is greatly appreciated. We feel very fortunate to serve a community that supports us so much!
We want to wish you all a Merry (and safe) Christmas! Drive safe and stay warm!
P.S. B Squad still has a few Starbucks gift cards left, so maybe you’ll get a late Christmas gift!
