RPD is proud to announce the new Sergeant John McCauley.
Sergeant McCauley has worked for the Richland Police Department since 2010. Prior to 2010, Sergeant McCauley worked in the business world as an accountant after getting a degree in finance and accounting. Sergeant McCauley has served as a Patrol Officer, Uniformed Investigator, and a Street Crimes Detective. He is currently the lead instructor of the department’s EVOC training cadre.

Sergeant McCauley is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to the Tri-cities in 2005 when he married his wife, a nurse here in Richland. Outside of work, Sergeant McCauley enjoys camping, boating, and motorcycle riding. Sergeant McCauley is excited about this new opportunity to serve the citizens of Richland.
