Benton, Franklin counties begin planning for in-person school instruction

Dr. Amy Person has recommended that local schools start planning for an in-person hybrid method of learning in a letter to Benton and Franklin Counties schools.

After a wildfire destroyed a critical rail trestle and bridge over the Yakima River in Benton County, the state of Washington is requesting an emergency declaration and assistance from the Federal Government (FEMA).
