The programs include college readiness resources, mentorship, advising, professional development and tutoring.
One Vision Partnership provided a $20 million grant to the WSU program to provide services to 13 middle schools and 13 high schools, including serving the Evergreen School District in Vancouver for the first time, according to NBC.
Harvest of Hope provided a $23 million grant that will serve 14 middle schools and 12 high schools, according to NBC.
“I am excited to partner with the same partners we have worked with throughout the last decade and a half. We have enjoyed working with teachers and administrators to make college and post-secondary dreams become a reality for so many students,” Silvia Clark, WSU Tri-Cities GEAR UP One Vision Partnership director, was quoted as saying by NBC.
