WSU student readiness program receives $43 million in grants

Two grants totalling $43 million from One Vision Partnership and Harvest of Hope will assist the Washington State University (WSU) Tri-Cities GEAR UP in serving an estimated 7,000 students.

Benton and Franklin counties recently eased COVID-19 restrictions slightly as they were approved to move to a modified Phase 1 by Secretary of Health John Wiesman and State Health Officer Kathy Lofy.

Benton County designates $3.5 million in CARES Act funds grants to local businesses, nonprofits

Benton County businesses and nonprofits can now apply for up to $100,000 in grants from $3.5 million in federal CARES Act Community Support Grant Program funds designated for the use by the County Commissioners.
